Job description

The individual in this position will be performing various warehouse functions to support the flow of merchandise to store location. This position requires operating a vehicle, warehouse material handling equipment, office equipment, and other types of equipment.

Responsibilities:

· Receive and process incoming merchandise through established processing procedures.

· Perform data entry.

· Fills shop replenishment orders accurately.

· Stock merchandise in correct putaway locations.

· Prepare shipments for shipping.

· Operate warehouse material handling equipment in a safe and secure manner.

· Perform cycle counts and physical inventories accurately.

· Perform all warehouse functions at the established productivity and service levels.

· Maintains warehouse housekeeping standards.

· Maintains material handling equipment per established standards.

· Maintains security of DFS facilities and property.

· All other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Education:

High school or trade school

Qualifications & Skills:

· Basic math skills

· Basic computer knowledge

· Problem solving skills

· Able to work accurately and have a strong attention to detail

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Clean traffic abstract (for driving position)

· Able to operate material handling equipment and be able to putaway or pick store orders at heights of over 25+ feet

· Good communication skills (verbal and written)

· Previous warehouse experience is a plus

· Able to work flexible days and hours.

· Able to work to a process and not take shortcuts.

· Able to work safely and within DFS’s security guidelines and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

• Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
