Overview:
** This position will be based out of our Grand Prairie, TX location**Responsibilities:
ViaPath is currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist 1 to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. The Warehouse Operations Specialist 1 will be responsible for testing and configuring various technology equipment to fulfill orders and RMAs for the company’s many products and services.
** This position will be based out of our Grand Prairie, TX location**
- Production on ViaPath products including assembly, setup, configuration and testing of computers, android tablets, and network equipment (periodically).
- Materials coordination to include handling and packing of products.
- Assist with materials management, software and firmware management, process review and general area maintenance to include (ROM tablets, transfer tablets Mac and ID to command for site connections and verification, QC tablets to verify the correct ROM is on the tablet, clean, recap and Box all tablets for the ticket worked on and verify the count is correct thru the (POETs) ticketing system, and scan tablets ROM’d into a spread sheet for back office.
- Work with cross-functionally with shipping and tablet repair when needed.
- Unbox, uncap and charge all new tablets for preparation of new implementation projects.
- Interaction with the Engineering, Technical Support and Product Support teams for process and situational clarification and refinements.
- Assist in documenting, refining, and enforcing technical standards and processes.
- Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas physically or by utilizing the following material handling equipment: hand truck, stock picker, and pallet jack
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 0-1 years of related experience required.
- Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office Suite.
- Driven to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on work assignments.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent research and documentation skills.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and be able to work with team members to move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Technical Certifications a plus but not required.
- Android and Linux experience preferred.
