Job description

AtWork is looking for a shipping and receiving associate for a client in the Apex,NC area. The associate will verify inventory, receive shipments, prepare for transport, and transport received packages to designated departments.

Responsibilities

• Verifies, receives, and distributes purchase orders and work orders using the ERP system.
• Ensures that items are properly moved in the ERP system to match physical quantities.
• Pulls parts and machines for sales orders and completes packing slips ensuring accuracy.
• Ensures all established ISO work instructions are followed at all times. Participates in ISO audits as requested.
• Performs cycle counts as required and determine root cause for discrepancies.
• Performs kitting for machines, clippers, sub-assemblies and stages for the assembly department.

Qualifications

• At least six months experience working in a shipping area or parts inventory department.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively with others, in an independent production team environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good attention to detail and organization.
• Strong computer and analytical skills – Word, Excel.
