ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with any inventory discrepancies within the warehouse.
• Counting and comparing the # of containers on tables against associated quantities; Basic mathematical skills.
• Organizing containers to protect against damages.
• Properly orientate parts to protect integrity of contents.
• Collection of data for traceability and reporting; Converting data from Word to Excel
• Understand and utilize system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
• Work closely with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts, and damages causing inventory issues.
• Assist Taskers in Corrals to resolve rollers and shorts.
• Understands JDA and CICS systems.
• Equipment usage: 2D Scanner, Laptop, Handheld Radio, pushcart, marking tools
• Conducts various phases of research whenever applicable.
• Prepares shorts sheets for Inventory Runners.
• Has basic/general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES

REQUIRED:

• High School or GED equivalency
• Familiarity with the Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) binder
• Possess basic computer skills (Excel & Word)
• Possess good communication skills (oral & written)
• General computer skills
• Certified in the operation of forklifts
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma and or GED.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System equipment and basic warehouse familiarity
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the distribution/warehouse
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Ability to set priorities and be able to multi-task with conflicting priorities
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
• Ability to work specified shifts
• Able to perform simple math calculations
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

One hundred percent of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally)
