YOUR ROLE
The Warehouse Operative is part of the operations team with responsibility for goods in, consolidation and goods out for products passing through the cross-dock operation. As directed by the Warehouse operative will ensure both contractual targets are achieved, carrying out all relevant activities safely and securely, whilst observing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
The operative must adhere to site security processes and protocols at all times without exception and immediately notify the management team if any individual is seen not to be following the required process.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Pass orders through the Cross-dock system in a fast and efficient manner- 8 hours a week will also be lined with BPE to cover the management of the data in the Ideas hub
- Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
- Unloading of supplier vehicles, completing box check against unloading manifest
- Maintain stock accuracy
- Produce KPI data for Team Leaders
This role is subject to meeting the necessary vetting requirements which can take up to 8 weeks to comeback.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Previous experience picking and packing, preferably using SAP or Oracle interfaces
- Someone who is a great team player but also able to work alone where required
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets
