Full time positions Day Shift-Monday through Friday 7am until finished (approximately 3:30pm) based on business needs.

Background:

Sierra Meat and Seafood is a distributor of private label and branded meat and seafood products. The company offers a full line of mainstream meats (ex. beef, poultry, pork) and specialty meats (e.g. bison, venison, elk, wagyu, wild boar). The company is the largest regional supplier in the Reno / Tahoe region, and a Top 15 distributor of Certified Angus Beef nationwide. Sierra also markets and distributes the Durham Ranch brand of specialty meats throughout the United States.

Warehouse Material Handler Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe, organized and clean facility
• Operate forklift and other required equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Safely load/unload material
• Frequently lift-up to 100lbs
• RF scanning of goods and accurate labeling of product
• Must be a self-starter who is driven to successfully and safely complete daily assignments
• Willing to work in a climate-controlled environment

Minimum requirements:

• 3 months recent warehouse/forklift/material handling experience
• Solid attendance history
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen
• Computer skills are preferred
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 100lbs
• Associate will spend the majority of their time in refrigerated/frozen environment
