Overview:

Site Manager directs and supervises all associates activities at customer worksite which may include but not limited to unloading, picking, stack down, bailing, replenishment, loading, order selecting and janitorial services.

Site Manager is also responsible for site customer service.

Our team works around a conveyor belt and downstacks cases of pork products onto pallets. A typical day sees around 50,000 cases or 2 Million pounds of pork products.

We're looking for someone who is flexible enough to work different shifts.

First Shift:

Monday - Saturday 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Second Shift:

Monday - Saturday 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Site Manager will be responsible for all daily warehouse operations
  • Manage a site personnel of +/- 50 indirect reports and 6 supervisors.
  • Performs all personnel management functions for site associates including hiring, scheduling, time and attendance review, performance review, staff development and site associate discipline and terminations.
  • Conducts safety, hazard communication programs and new hire orientation training.
  • Analyzes workload and delivery schedules to meet customer needs
  • Ensures the efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of site operations.
  • Investigates and reports all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and immediate manner.
  • Manages effectively to reduce overtime hours
  • Conducts investigation of associates performance or misconduct issues
  • Act as a link between site, corporate, client, and operations.
  • Develop working relationships with all client management team.
  • Resolves customer service issues as needed.
  • Successfully train and motivate site associates.
  • Provides positive feedback and assessments to site associates.
  • Assist in conflict resolutions.
  • Resolve any OSHA regulations and requirements
  • Record, track productivity and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills , and Characteristics Required

  • Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and
  • Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a projector
  • Communication - Ability to read, write and understand Spanish is a plus
  • Time Management-Ability to coordinate work schedules in the coordination of workflow to minimize labor cost.
  • Safety Awareness –Ability to respond quickly to all situations. Be able to identify, correct and reduce safety risks.
  • Proven leadership, customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask under fast paced environment.
