Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products. Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed.
• Responsible for pricing items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling with the size and color for inventory control.
• Maintain the recycling program, collect cardboard and places in the appropriate areas.
• Assists with the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, transfers and physical inventory.
• Ensures that all work areas are neat, clean and organized with strong attention to safety.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working in a warehouse.
• Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventory and shipping.
• Computer knowledge and good communication skills.
• Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle counts accurately.
• Requires a valid drivers license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Must pass pre-employment background check including MVR and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Requires standing entirety of shift with frequent grasping, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching above the shoulders. May use step stool and occasional stairs.
• Visual acuity to work with computers and paperwork.
• Exposure to and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize areas, surfaces and equipment.
