Summary of Responsibilities:

Under supervision, performs a wide variety of warehouse duties/activities, related to the warehouse’s daily operation. Assisting other departments as needed. This position also shares the daily task of maintaining the warehouse including, loading and unloading trucks, sorting and storing product/materials, managing inventory, preparing shipments and adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform equipment rental – preparation & receiving of gear.

· Load and unload trucks.

· Select proper location, shelve gear and perform associated inventory transactions. Maintain neat and orderly storage of gear.

· Follow established job order priorities, select product/gear for client orders, check for and report damaged gear, complete associated job orders.

· Carefully check all completed orders for accuracy, completeness and condition of product and packaging. Report and correct discrepancies as directed.

· Properly pack all customer orders to arrive organized. Label and mark appropriately for assigned jobs.

· Process shipping tasks to assure all customer orders are successfully pulled to ensure requested gear arrives as promised. Perform all associated transactions.

· Label all outbound shipments with correct labels and load into proper carrier truck.

· Assist in physical inventory counting, reconciliation and associated tasks. May be scheduled outside the normal work schedule. Attendance is mandatory.

· Product and Location maintenance: Organize, consolidate, maintain, rework and clean product and locations as assigned.

· Discrepancies: Report all product, labeling, location or condition issues immediately to supervisor.

· Facilities: Clean and maintain facilities as required or assigned to assure a businesslike and impressive distribution center for our customer/clients.

· Material handling: Achieve certification in the use of applicable material handling vehicles. Always operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

· Safety: Perform no acts unsafe to yourself. Your fellow employees, clients or guests. Report any unsafe condition immediately to supervisors.

· Other assigned tasks: Perform all other duties and tasks assigned. With the possibility the use of handheld tools and power tools.

Requirements:

· Flexibility is required to meet client needs and production schedules. Ability to work independently and with others in a variety of circumstances, operate various types of warehouse equipment in a safe manner. Good communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds.

Education / Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
