POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving and inventory control functions of our automotive warehouse products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receiving inbound product in accordance with SOP guidelines.

• Preparation of all outbound service shipments, including those for local service repairs, will call customers, and internal Shop Supervisor.

• Preparation of internal orders necessary for a technician to complete repairs or install requests.

• Inventory management including cycle counting and advising the Parts Manager & Purchasing departments on stocking inventory adjustments as needed.

• Ensure all inventory, including warranty parts and cores, are accurately labeled and stored in the warehouse locations.

• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.

• Assist with Special Projects as needed.

KSAs

• Ability to operate a forklift, power or manual pallet jack while adhering to safety rules

• Excellent communication skills with customer and all levels within the organization

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multi-task

• Proficient in MS-Office Suite

• Knowledge of auto parts terminology

• Familiarity with the Obsolescence, Review, Sort, Sell, Throw inventory management method

• Team player

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of forklift experience

• A pre-employment drug screen and physical are required prior to hire

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 1+ year of warehouse experience

• Valid drivers license with clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT health card

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to be on feet 8 hours per day on cement

• Able to lift 75 lbs. with proper lifting tools and techniques

• Ability to work in adverse conditions such as dusty environment, variable climate conditions, etc.

• Overtime as required by fluctuating warehouse needs
