Job description

The Warehouse Associate will assist with order fulfillment and inventory receiving and processing. The ultimate objective for this position is to ship orders out safely, efficiently, and accurately to customers.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time position with a Monday thru Friday schedule (must be available to work from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES [Other assignments, projects, and duties not outlined below may be required]

· Receives inventory – activities may include:

o Unloads delivery trucks and shipping containers

o Verifies and documents quantities by SKU against Purchase Orders (“PO’s”)

o Sorts received product

o Quality checks product for defects, damages, and quantity discrepancies

o Logs PO receipt forms

· Processes inventory – activities may include:

o Cycle counts product regularly as assigned

o Consolidates product

o Restocks shelves

o Sorts, logs, restocks, and disposes returned inventory

· Picks orders – Uses a handheld scanner to pick items for customer orders

· Packs orders – Ensures that orders contain the correct items, verifies weight, and packs orders for shipping

· Ships orders – Prepares outbound mail for pickup: box stacking, stretch wrapping, palletization

· Maintains a clean and organized warehouse

· Adheres to company guidelines regarding masks, sanitation, and social distancing

EDUCATION

● High school or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

● Prior picking and packing experience is preferred
● Prior forklift experience is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

● Active forklift certification is preferred, or a willingness to become certified
● Able to perform basic arithmetic
● Ability to operate various warehouse equipment including a pallet jack, handheld scanner, and computer
● Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Ability to stand for long period of times
● Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, as needed
● Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures
● Ability to lift and move cartons that weigh up to 40 pounds
