Job description

Perform basic manufacturing and packaging functions related to production of bird and small animal food products or fish food products. Line workers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including placing, packing boxes, stacking pallets, reworking product or product packaging, cleaning, and other general manufacturing duties.

Position: Production Worker

Production Worker responsibilities and duties

• Feed materials into production machinery.
• Assemble goods on production lines.
• Monitor the production process.
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
• Store goods and materials properly in our warehouse.

What will you be doing?

• Working in an animal/fish food processing area
• Putting final product into food bags for shipping
• Using a pressure washer to wash down equipment and working area
• Processing fish to make it into dog and animal food.
• Must be comfortable with a fish smell while working.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent

· One year (1) related experience and/or training

Required Skills

· Able to read, comprehend, and legibly write English.

· Able to lift up to 10 lbs.

· Must possess organizational and teamwork skills

· Able to stand at work stations and use material handling equipment to move products.

· Able to operate digital and dial scales.

Work Environment:

· Exposure to hot and cold warehouse climate

· Frequent exposure to motorized warehouse equipment

· Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
