Title: Warehouse Assistant

Reporting to: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Location: North London, South Mimms Facility

The Role:

We are a start-up looking for an organised, keen to learn warehouse assistant. Your primary responsibility is to manage the flow of material and stock through a warehouse and ad-hoc activities in facilities around site.

Main Responsibilities:

Warehouse activities as:

• Receive and process material for production/finished goods
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system; ensure all stock movements are recorded
• Ensure internal orders are processed efficiently and delivery of materials meets business expectations and timelines
• Organise warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• Constantly work to improve processes
• Perform stock takes bi-annually on all products in the warehouse
• Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
• Facilitating laundry collections (lab coats, clean room gowns etc) and waste collections (from specialist companies)

Facility activities:

• Meeting visitors and signing them in

• Watching the CCTV to let couriers in/out of site

• Assisting the cleaning team when required

• Assisting with facilities maintenance and upkeep when required

• Plant room daily checks

• First aid kit checks

• Taking samples for QC analysis

What you’ll bring:

• MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint) literate

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Good work ethic and attention to detail

• Punctual

• Able to follow both written (SOP’s etc.) and verbal instructions

• Establish and maintain a good working relationship within the all operations staff and teams;

• Resilient, assertive, optimistic and open to change

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
