Role:

The primary purpose of Cy-Fair FCU is to provide member services, products and business practices that unlock and cultivate our members' financial future. To achieve this mission, the position must deliver high quality service to both internal and external members. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Vice President of Project Management and Business Development drives the growth of the Credit Union. This position organizes and monitors ongoing projects and development efforts. This position also helps to drive the budget and on time completion of projects while ensuring a positive member experience. Project management and project participation is essential to the successful execution of these duties.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

E 20% Oversees and develops comprehensive Business Development strategy for new business acquisition through business 2 business (B2B) sales and leverage community events for CFFCU growth. Oversees the Business Development Team and participates in various Chamber, Chapter and Community events to drive business growth.

E 20% Primary liaison with PV A+ M University where we seek to cultivate and penetrate new diverse populations. Will be responsible for development of new memberships, loans, and relationships in the Waller, Hempstead and PV areas.

E 15% Champions the Juntos Avanzamos (Together we Advance) designation as CyFair FCU is committed to serving and empowering Hispanic and Immigrant consumers. Works with Business Development Officers to promote deposit and lending products to this diverse community.

E 10% Oversees special projects related to the Credit Union's growth plan including but not limited to; facilities and space planning, construction projects, process improvement and ordering of FF & E. Work closely with the CEO on projects related to the Corporate Office and Branch Transformation at all locations.

N 10% Work with leaders at LSC CyFair to deepen existing relationship and gain new members at the College.

N 5% Oversees the Credit Union's property management relationship including monitoring the tickets summited through IMPACT. Works with REIS to ensure vendor partnerships are meeting the needs of the Credit Union (including landscaping, contractors, etc). Oversee the onsite maintenance technician and any ongoing concerns related to the building.

N 5% With the help of the Business Development Officers, create seminars for Key Employer Groups. Maintain an active and current list of seminars such as budgeting 101, Credit 101, Car Buying 101, etc.

N 5% Works closely with the VP of Marketing to coordinate on site events to drive membership. Host/Contribute to various events in order to grow the membership.

N 5%

Contributes to the formulation of the Strategic plan and supports tactical initiatives. Takes proactive approach to enhancing the vision and mission of the Credit Union.

Performance Measurements:

1. To practice, promote, and support the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the Credit Union and to ensure they are carried out by each employee. To carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the CU's policies and procedures. To establish and maintain an effective relationship with user departments, members of the management team and vendors.

2. Responsible for practicing, promoting and coaching the sales and service culture of the Credit Union to both internal and external customers including a member centric, results oriented commitment. Leads, mentors and coaches employees within assigned department. Responsible for providing ongoing feedback and training to employees to achieve maximum individual performance, including on the job training, coaching sessions, performance discussions, outside training and timely preparation of performance appraisals.

3. To serve as a CU ambassador in the community, attending functions before, during and after work hours, networking and volunteering to raise awareness and promote the CU's image as an active community and business partner, and to recommend appropriate CU sponsorships and advertising to enhance Business Development efforts.

4. To stay informed of current trends affecting the financial services industry industry. To possess and apply creativity and self-motivation as required by the role.

5. To contribute to the preparation of a budget that is well documented and consistent with the strategic plan of the Credit Union.

6. To ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

7. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members or members of the business community.

8. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or Board of Directors.

9. To serve as a CU ambassador in the community, attending functions before, during and after work hours, networking and volunteering to raise awareness and promote the CU's image as an active community and business partner.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience At least ten years similar or related experience.

Education A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing or Business.

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves motivating and influencing other leaders and stakeholders to accomplish key organizational objectives. External contacts are vital, not only for the success of the position, but the success of the organization overall. Work involves making material presentations to the Board of Directors, community leaders, and business leaders.

Physical Requirements

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk stoop kneel talk and hear.
Vision requirements include: close vision and the ability to focus. Nature of the position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds.

Work Environment

Full time employees are required to complete (16) hours of volunteerism and (8) hours for Part time employees. All volunteer time has to be approved prior to event. In addition, needs to benefit or have an impact in Harris County.
