Faculty Scholar Visiting
UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH MEDICAL CENTER
The University of Pittsburgh Department of Anesthesiology serves one of the nation’s largest integrated delivery systems and is actively recruiting a Visiting Scholar to participate in the clinical activities within the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) research.
- A hands-on approach to interacting with study participants and health professionals in the clinical research setting with exposure to many surgical specialties
- Collaboration with faculty investigators in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine
- Conduction of Data analysis and manuscript development for a research project
- The ability to work with a highly productive team is critical to the success of this position
Requirements: Candidates should possess an M.D. or Ph.D. degree. He/she should have the ability to work collaboratively and be interested in working with individuals from many different backgrounds including clinicians and basic scientists.
Candidates should also have a good command of the English Language and evidence of good writing and interpersonal skills.
