POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Videographer is to work as part of a team to record video on site, in our studio, or off site. The videographer also works post production to edit video and the assets used in videos to create brand aligned, high quality video content for primarily social media and YouTube.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Record intentional, quality video using professional equipment
  • Set-up lighting and audio equipment to ensure proper lighting and audio quality
  • Use editing software post-production to edit videos and produce video content that is aligned with TRC’s brand house, and follows creative briefs
  • Input graphics to enhance footage
  • Meet or exceed project timeline milestones and deadlines
  • Create engaging social media content
  • Take professional pictures in studio or on location
  • Use different editing techniques to enhance the photographs as required
  • Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
  • Contribute copy to the creative pieces

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Able to follow instructions accurately to achieve desired results

  • High proficiency in Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities
  • Has excellent communication techniques with business partners and team members in person, by phone, or written

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of professional job experience using professional recording equipment
  • Knowledge of video editing software, including Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Knowledge of audio editing software such as Audition
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Motion graphic skills are a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand and move around for long periods at a time
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional weekend availability
  • Position may require travel: Up to 15%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
