This VP Physician Executive for the Centura Health Physician Group provides oversight for the clinical and financial performance of the providers and practices in a dyad partnership in Primary Care and Behavioral Health and reports to the CHPG CEO. This includes developing the clinical vision for their area, while ensuring CHPG care management and clinical practices/policies are adhered to. Ensures personal actions, and the actions of the providers in Primary Care comply with all applicable policies, regulations and laws.
Important to this role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire leadership team throughout Centura Health. The VP Physician Executive must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of our Christian organization. This position must be a team player themselves and contribute toward a Team centered approach that lends itself to ensuring “team before self” as we lead our complex, highly matrixed organization into the differentiated leading role as the system of choice. This position will invite others into their Mission and Community Health work in order to be fully Transparent with the activities of this position, allowing for celebration of success and learnings through opportunities for change. In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Doctorate Degree in Medicine including board certification.- Minimum of five (5) years healthcare leadership.
- Medical Group Administration coupled with extensive experience in upper management in a multi-unit healthcare system.
