The Head of Global Operations is charged to advance the operational rigor, capabilities and customer experiences across the StockX network of Authentication Centers (AC) and Express Fulfillment Centers (XFC). This impactful leadership role will provide thought leadership around supply chain strategy, current and future operating models, use of the latest technologies. The leader will help drive continuous improvement across all dimensions of the operations. This key leadership role will help lead from strategy to execution to fulfill our customer brand promise to deliver verified products, on time and in great condition. The leader will also drive strong Team Member engagement, development and succession planning across a large global "Dream Team" with operations in ten countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.

What you'll do

Strategy, Leadership & Culture

  • Leads by example with a "Safety First" leadership approach to maintain a safe work environment for our Team Members around the world
  • Develops business strategies, plans and Operations roadmaps to continuously improve our Team Member tools, training, certification, processes and systems
  • Develops a strong leadership team, advances cross-functional skills, with a 3-deep bench for succession planning and organizational agility
  • Raises the bar with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Infuses the company cultural values into the daily operating routines, team member experiences and ongoing recognition
  • Fosters a culture of having a responsible mindset, ownership and accountability

Operational Excellence

  • Ensures great customer experiences through high quality and rapid fulfillment of orders within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Establishes Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for measuring and improving customer experiences
  • Advances the standardization of core processes, metrics-driven operations and consistency of execution
  • Collaborates with Brand Protection, Knowledge Management, Quality and Training teams on the ongoing Authentication training and certification programs
  • Dries execution through SOPs, operating dashboards and leadership team
  • Manages process of "retros" to capture learnings from past success and challenges to incorporate into future plans
  • Works closely with Finance partners to build annual operating budget, monitor and manage P&L performance
  • Cultivates Continuous Improvement (CI) program within the operations sites
  • Keeps the Leadership Team (LT) and Senior Leaders apprised of progress and escalate issues of significance as appropriate

Systems, Automation and Operating Models

  • Works closely with Product and Engineering technology teams to mature systems and operational controls
  • Partners with WMS implementation teams to complete the rollout of the new operating system and identities enhancements
  • Utilizes Industrial Engineering team and best practices for improving flow, updating engineered labor standards, processes and operations design
  • Advances use of material handling(e.g. Automation, robotics, etc..) solutions to improve safety, quality, utilization and efficiency
  • Evolves core processes, system configuration and implementation of eCommerce fulfillment operating model

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Operations
  • Leadership progression across multiple eCommerce operations, including brands, retailers and/or 3PL service providers
  • Relevant leadership experience in complex eCommerce operations in the sector of Footwear (sneakers), Fashion, Luxury Goods and/or Electronics
  • Senior leadership experience with teams over 1,000 employees

  • Leadership experience supporting international locations
  • LEAN / Six Sigma certification
  • Language Skills: English advanced level of knowledge required. Additional language
  • abilities are valued
  • Communication Skills: Ability to adapt comms style to effectively communicate with frontline Team Members up to the Board of Directors
  • Mathematical Skills: Advanced level of knowledge required
  • Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Advanced level required
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google suite
  • Must be an extensive multi-tasker, and problem solver with high energy levels and strong

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $225,000 to $275,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
