Role Summary/Purpose:
This role will be responsible for commercializing the overall strategy and engagement of our digital products and capabilities suite. In service to our platform partners, this role will proactively decipher client needs and tailor our product and capability suite to meet the consumer landscape of tomorrow. The role will further liaison across the broader leadership team and SYF organization, to ensure a proactive, seamless, and coordinated execution focus is always present in each engagement.
In partnership with the broader SYF organization, this person and their team will support and assist the on-going growth and profitability of our client relationships.

Essential Responsibilities:
Align with platform(s) leadership to understand commercial goals & objectives, strategic priorities and focus areas
Partner with platform(s) leadership to uncover client gaps and needs, and build out solution sets, targeting strategy specific to each platform’s needs
Proactively engage platform commercial leaders to rollout new products & capabilities
Align with product and channel leaders to understand SYF solutions, products, features, capabilities and channels’ readiness
Translate product and capabilities narrative and assist with client presentations, and in partnership with direct team, serve as technical expert on products and capabilities
Work with technical sales teams to support sell-in on technical level
Maintain expertise of relevant markets & industries, including competitive landscape
Utilize Salesforce to update & track sales funnel for products & capabilities
Effectively communicate growth strategies and progress to key stakeholders
Establish effective working business relationship with client teams and key industry/market contacts
Inform GTM marketing and product development based on client and market feedback
Lead platform(s) commercialization updates monthly/quarterly with platform leadership and key stakeholders
Coordinate with GTM platform support to streamline intake process and integration
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, HS Diploma/GED and 10 years of work experience in the financial services field
Minimum of 6 years of client management experience
Minimum of 4 years leadership/team building experience, building both strong cross-functional alliances and motivating others to act in a boundaryless fashion
Minimum of 3 years marketing experience
Credit card industry experience
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated prior experience involving client sales, business planning and P&L management.
Strong financial and analytical skills
Proven ability to influence corporate decision makers, strong negotiating skills
Ability to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needs
Proven ability to work remotely and independently
Grade/Level: 13
The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
