Currently searching for Full and Part-time Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. We are a busy 30-year established Veterinary hospital in the Clearwater/Largo area. We offer our clients the highest quality medical care including laser therapy, ultrasound, and digital dental and full-body radiographs. Our goal is to hire team-oriented, highly motivated staff members, who are willing to lend a helping hand to their coworkers at a moment’s notice. We have an extremely friendly, happy work environment, all while maintaining a very busy, professional environment. A positive attitude, a willingness to work as a team, and a dedication to client service is a must for these positions.

Veterinary Technician positions are available to both Certified and Non-Certified Technicians. All applicants will be held to the same standards of high quality care, and must be able to perform any of the typical duties expected of a quality Technician, such as anesthetic induction, maintenance, and monitoring, surgical preparation and assistance, laboratory evaluation including phlebotomy, sample preparation, cytology, urinalysis, diagnostic fecal examination, in-house and reference laboratory blood analysis and radiology. Technicians are expected to be client-education oriented and ready to satisfy the needs of the clients, and are integral in relaying important patient care information between the pet-owners and the Veterinarian.

Veterinary Assistant positions are open to applicants with experience only. Assistants aid both the Technicians and Veterinarians in pet care, including patient handling and restraint, sample preparation, surgical and diagnostic assistance, and general patient and client comfort. Assistants will be expected to aid the Technicians in client communication, and therefore must have a strong interest in learning more about the veterinary field.
