County Line Veterinary Clinic a busy 4-doctor veterinary clinic located in New Braunfels, TX (Between Austin and San Antonio). We are looking for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our progressive team. We see a variety of complicated medical cases and have a beautiful facility equipped with a full in-house lab, therapeutic laser, surgical laser, diagnostic ultrasound, digital x-ray and dental x-ray to name a few.

Attached to County Line Veterinary Clinic is our canine rehab clinic, Infinite PawsAbilities. We offer a wide variety of therapies, including an underwater treadmill, shockwave therapy, gait training, acupuncture, chiropractic therapy and herbal therapy.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:

· Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Maintain pharmacy inventory

· Daily inventory of pharmacy, recording what needs to be re-stocked

· Anticipate needs for medications and supplies

· Verify receipts

· Remove/return outdated drugs

· Maintain and fulfill controlled substance cabinets

· Fill prescriptions for hospitalized patients and outpatients

· Record clear documentation of all communications with our clients, referring veterinary hospitals, and local pharmacies

· Review of patient records to assure that medications are approved and patient record is up-to-date

· Maintain and fulfill stocking of medical supplies in designated locations

· Take part in quarterly cycle counts of inventory or more as assigned

· Call in prescriptions over the phone to various pharmacies at the request of doctors

· Research and remain up to date with Pharmacy Regulations for Veterinarians

· Complete any additional tasks not specified and/or assignments as requested, Other job duties assigned as needed

This practice is a great fit for someone interested in practicing quality medicine in a fast-paced environment with great clients and a great team beside you. No weekends or after hour emergencies. We are open 7:30-6 M-F. We are a drug free facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)
