Veterinary Assistant
Job description
Riverside Animal Hospital of Muscatine, IA is seeking a Vet Assistant to join our team for a full-time position. The position will provide work averaging 35-40 hours per week with occasional Saturdays. Duties would include, but not limited to: assisting doctors and technicians, pet restraint, assisting with radiographs, prescription filling, reception duties, vaccine preparation, patient check-in and clinic housekeeping. Applicants must have an ability to manage a variety of tasks, a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to handle pets safely in stressful situations. Applicants should also enjoy building relationships with clients.
