We are looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian licensed in Ohio (or eligible for licensure in Ohio) to join our 2 doctor practice in western Cincinnati.

Non-negotiables in what we are looking for from you:

• A desire to create true, meaningful relationships with clients. A key component of successfully providing the best care to our patients is trust between us as the healthcare team and our pet families. Must like people!
• Belief in our core values: 1. Treating others (patients, clients, team) with respect 2. Open, honest and fair communication 3. Commitment to excellence
• Willing to work until 7 pm at least 1 night per week.

What we can't offer you (and never plan to):

• Weekend work and emergency calls. We are open 9-7 Mon-Friday. Our doctors enjoy a 3 day weekend every weekend. We respect your days off.
• A negative, toxic environment. We have a great team and we communicate with each other (core value of respect).
• 10-15 minute appointments: All of our appointments are 30 minutes. We don’t have pet numbers or quotas. While your compensation is directly affected by hours worked per week, patients seen and quality of diagnostic workups and treatments, you have control. If you are able to see 20 minute appointments and provide great patient care and customer service you can.
• Angry clients. We have the best clients. We expect our clients to follow our core value of respect also.
• A revolving door for team members. We love our team and while we support them when they make a change that benefits their lives, we try to keep our team intact. We have low turnover in comparison to most clinics.
• A one-size-fits-all job offer. If the non-negotiables work for you, I’d love to talk about what YOU need. Three 10 hour days? Five 8 hour days? One 4 hour day? No surgery? Lots of surgeries? Mentoring (a word to new graduates- mentoring is easy to say, harder to deliver. Ask for a defined mentorship plan)? More money for CE and less for insurance? More vacation? A dedicated virtual assistant to help transcribe your notes as you verbalize exams so you spend less time on mundane records?
• Stasis. We are constantly striving to improve as individuals, as a team and as a clinic. If you aren’t comfortable with change, we may not be the right fit for you. We believe in education for our team members and constant improvement.
• Regional managers, medical directors, corporate office. As the owner of the clinic, I work in the clinic. I care about our team members and value their opinions.

• While we are not “fear free certified”, we are serious about low stress handling
• We have digital xray, dental rads, and we are purchasing an ultrasound within the next 3-4 months. We use Practice Management Software, email, texting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
