Job description
This position is responsible for transporting soiled and clean linen between JIRDC and Broughton Hospital. Responsible for distributing linen to the individual homes, cottages and areas. Assists with washing and delivery of mop, dust mops and the delivery of marked clothing. Assists with the marking of clothing and linen. Keeps assigned laundry vehicle clean and filled with fuel. Follows all safety and infection control policy and procedures
Salary Grade NC04 ;Recruitment Range $ 31,200.00 - $ 51,525.00

- Possession of a valid North Carolina Drivers License (or have the ability to obtain a North Carolina Drivers License if living out of state)
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to follow a set schedule.
- Prior experience in housekeeping service.
- Two or more years of experience in large institutional operation.
- Two or more years of experience operating a large box delivery truck with a hydraulic lift.
Be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull food carts for long periods of time.
High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities.
