Come join our team! Vehicle Mechanic Pay Wage: $ 30. 00 Required Job Functions • Have all repairs inspected and approved by the Fleet Manager or Lead Technician. • Work in a safe, clean, accurate and efficient manner.

• Record time spent, parts and supplies used and work activity on the appropriate forms provided. • Immediately bring unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of the Lead Technician. • Have the ability to perform occasional after hour service calls. • Perform work assigned by Fleet Manager or Lead Technician.

Strong communication and teamwork skills • Knowledge of truck electrical and air-conditioning systems required • Knowledge of International 4700 Series medium-duty truck preferred • Operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repairs of gasoline and diesel truck equipment Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. • One year experience doing light utility repair and maintenance or graduate from reputable trade school. • Must be able to perform the following: Accurately perform preventive maintenance to fleet vehicles, have the ability to spot component failures, worn or damaged parts, diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems, and produce quality repairs. • 2-3 years recent fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance experience a plus • Possess a valid drivers license (C or better) and meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations Working Conditions • Full-time schedule potentially consisting of an average 40 to 50 hours/week, with minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period.

Occasional weekend work • Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear) Essential Duties/Job Qualifications As part of the qualification process for the Armed Driver Guard position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required.
