Neighbor Network of Northern Nevada (N4) is hiring a full time Van Driver. Do you love your community? Do you enjoy helping others? N4 is a growing 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to connect people living in Northern Nevada for inclusive, community-based services, volunteer opportunities, and affordable transportation. We create a “village” of people and organizations through a variety of community activities, including a time exchange, transportation services, and support programs for people with disabilities and older adults. This Van Driver will be responsible for transporting members of the community safely to various locations within Washoe County. Must be 18 years of age with a valid Class C Nevada driver’s license. Must be comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and older individuals from diverse backgrounds who may require assistance with transferring into and out of the vehicle. Ability to work varied shifts and days required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Fantastic customer service skills

· Capable of understanding directions and the ability to read and use map technology

· Ability to maintain professional behavior and a great attitude

· Great communication skills

· Ability to work independently

· Clean driving record; MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE

· Must be able to assist individuals with transferring into and out of the vehicle

***Must show proof of the COVID vaccine or be willing to get the vaccine prior to working with people served by N4***

Preferred Qualifications:

· 5 years experience in non-emergency transportation.

· 2 years experience in a customer service-related role.

· Bilingual Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
