A small, acute care hospital located near Bakersfield, California has a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Utilization Review Nurse , 13-weeks, to come and work for their hospital! Great facility, great team and culture to be a part of!
Salary Range: $80.00-$84.00 Hourly
Utilization Review Nurse Duties:
- Utilization Review Nurse utilizes the nursing process for age and diagnosis of specific populations to assess, plan and evaluate the care of a designated case load of patients so that clinical and financial outcomes are achieved.
- Utilization Review Nurse holds primary responsibility for oversight of Care Coordination and Utilization Review, providing direction and delegation as appropriate to accomplish.
- Utilization Review Nurse positions are 5, 8-hour day shifts
Utilization Review Nurse Requirements:
- Must have RN license in California
- 2 years of experience preferred in area of expertise
- BSN or Associates in Nursing
- Must be Covid vaccinated
Surrounding Bakersfield Area:
- 2 hours from Los Angeles, and 2.5 hours from Santa Barbara, CA
- Many outdoor activities nearby including fishing, hiking, and camping
