Experience:
- 8 – 10 years of work experience on energy, utility, and distributed energy projects.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory or technical team lead capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of utility systems serving a large number of clients through district heating, cooling and electrical distribution systems.
- Strong capability in program and project management oversight.
- Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to work with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.
- Strong leadership and management skills and ability to oversee external consultants.
- Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Class C driver’s license, or equivalent, with fewer than 6 points.
- This position is required to file an annual State Financial Disclosure form.
- Experience working in Higher Education or research facilities for Federal, State, or Local Governments.
- Prior experience in the master planning of a multi-year program.
- Strong focus and attention to detail and customer operational impacts.
- Ability to evaluate documents related to energy services, maintenance, and management agreements.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
- Active Professional Engineer licensure or Active Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.

- The hiring salary range is: $120,441 – $150,552 .
