Job description

The employee will perform routine duties involving trash collection and disposal, and other associated activities as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Required to work outside in all types of weather.
  • Assist with the snow removal and other essential duties
  • Able to bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 50lbs.
  • The performance of all duties associated with the removal and disposal of trash and debris.
  • Must be accessible and available to meet the ongoing responsibilities of physical plant operations.
  • Depending on the circumstances and needs of the college, overtime work may be mandatory.
  • Must perform all other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Required Knowledge and Skills

1. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

2. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and express ideas effectively and concisely

3. Must be able to follow instructions

4. Must be willing to seek training to enhance or learn new skills

5. Must be able to work a varied schedule, including Saturdays


Work Schedule/Hours

Typical work hours are 7:30 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
