Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with client’s in-person or by phone.
  • Proficient in all features and benefits of bank’s products, programs, and services in order to give customer the best financial advice.
  • Ability to understand client's financial needs and make appropriate product recommendations or refer the client to a financial partner.
  • Answers customers’ questions regarding bank services and provides and performs a variety of account maintenance duties.
  • Actively cross sells Bank products and services.
  • Serves customers promptly and professionally.
  • Meets or exceeds individual sales goals while supporting goals of the branch
  • Refers customers to internal partners when financial needs are recognized
  • Performs routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and issues debit cards
  • Opens and closes accounts, including: checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes
  • Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals.
  • Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions
  • Support all daily operations of the branch, including, but not limited to, working rotating Saturday and extended hour shifts.


Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • 6+ months of previous cash handling experience in a business-related environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel to all branches in the Tampa Bay region, when needed
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; college degree preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good typing skills
  • Sales oriented mind-set
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
