Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with client’s in-person or by phone.
- Proficient in all features and benefits of bank’s products, programs, and services in order to give customer the best financial advice.
- Ability to understand client's financial needs and make appropriate product recommendations or refer the client to a financial partner.
- Answers customers’ questions regarding bank services and provides and performs a variety of account maintenance duties.
- Actively cross sells Bank products and services.
- Serves customers promptly and professionally.
- Meets or exceeds individual sales goals while supporting goals of the branch
- Refers customers to internal partners when financial needs are recognized
- Performs routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and issues debit cards
- Opens and closes accounts, including: checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes
- Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals.
- Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions
- Support all daily operations of the branch, including, but not limited to, working rotating Saturday and extended hour shifts.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- 6+ months of previous cash handling experience in a business-related environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel to all branches in the Tampa Bay region, when needed
- An Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; college degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented
- Good typing skills
- Sales oriented mind-set
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
