The Undergraduate Academic Advisor 2 in the College of Pharmacy will foster student success by identifying and implementing proactive strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. The Advisor will advise students on university policy and procedures, program, and degree requirements, and related academic matters. This position will also assist in coordination of student orientation in coordination with other advising team members. The Advisor will develop content for and teach sections of PHR 1100 to both NFYS and transfer student populations as well as advise BSPS students including special populations such as Early Assurance Program (EAP), athletes and honors students. Independently manage the honors program and ensure that all honors students are following program requirements.

The Advisor will help identify resources and collaborations for resolving student cases while managing complex student issues independently or with the help of Advising leadership. This position will serve as a liaison for all regional campuses and campus change students. This position will be responsible for tasks related to but not limited to the following: updating websites, serving on university committees, processing graduation applications, and other duties as assigned.

This role will have the unique responsibility of collaborating with a representative from University Housing to develop, coordinate and execute the Pharmacy Learning Community co-curricular activities and processes; and serve as the lead and liaison for the Pharmacy Living Learning community communication, programming, event set up and break down and tracking Pharmacy LLC participation.

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs/personnel, or related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Experience managing multiple projects in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Experience advising students.

The pay range for this job profile is $45,000 - $50,000. Position is paid hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.

The College of Pharmacy believes in a healthy work/life balance, therefore, the work arrangement for this position has the option to be hybrid (i.e., remote and in-office), subject to change based upon the needs of the organization and as determined by College Leadership.
