Job Position: Unassign Director (Mutiple Areas) Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview:
  • The Director is responsible in the overall leadership and management of the preschool.
  • This position is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations, financial management, curriculum delivery, employee/student retention and achievement, parent/community relations, and strategic planning for the school.
  • The Director must perform a variety of highly responsible, confidential and complex administrative duties including, but are not limited to, budgeting, marketing, bookkeeping/recording procedures, curriculum knowledge and employee relations.

  • Manage assigned schools in accordance with company financial and budgetary guidelines.
  • Hire, train, and supervise teachers and other staff.
  • Operate the school according to state licensing standards.
  • Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities.
  • Purchase supplies, equipment, food, and other materials necessary for program operations.
  • Execute marketing plan (both internal and external) necessary to maintain desired enrollment.
  • Ensure a safe environment for the children in our care.
  • Setting the mood, stage and platform for excellence every day.
  • Ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for children and parents.
  • Sparking imagination, building self-esteem and helping children discover new things.
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, evaluating and mentoring quality staff.
  • Providing staff with regular and specific feedback through classroom observations, one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations by understanding, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
  • Exhibit proactive communication; act and think with customers in mind.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with customers, coworkers, managers and visitors.
  • Manages the school in compliance with all state regulations, as well as MSW policies and procedures.
  • Effectively resolves problems related to the management of the school.
  • Maintains administrative records in compliance with company policy and state regulations.
  • Plans work schedules and supervises staff.
  • Keeps fully apprised of all activities at the school and ensures families are made aware of details.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the school.
  • Coaches and mentor’s management team.
  • Conducts tours for prospective families.
  • Available to parents to listen and take appropriate action on their concerns.
  • Maintains effective communication between staff and parents.
  • Regularly solicit feedback from parents in order to make improvements at the school.
  • Ensures that all staff are following Professional Development requirements.
  • Maintains building, equipment and grounds through regular safety checks to ensure a safe environment.
  • Any other duties assigned by the District Manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum requirement of at least one year of pre-school management experience.
  • BA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred.
  • Must be a team builder, highly organized and possess excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Flexible and energetic.
  • Have the ability to juggle multiple duties.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and ability to learn other programs quickly.
  • Certifications- Any 1st Aid Certifications a Plus.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and FBI check.
  • Physical abilities- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift-up to 25-40 lbs. daily.
Job Details:
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
  • Work Location: One location. (451 N. Clear Spring Rd., Mustang, OK 73064)
