Essential Duties and Responsibilities
UI/UX Designer
- Provide data instrumentation and data driven analysis capability for the 805th Combat Training Squadron (CTS).
- Collect, research, investigate, and evaluate user requirements.
- Communicate with users to understand their goals and objectives.
- Plan and implement new designs.
- Optimize existing user interface designs.
- Test for intuitivity and experience.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with produce managers and engineers.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop technical and organizational requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Develops and adheres to style standards for fonts, colors, and images.
Required Skills and Experience

- Knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and customer-centric.
- A UI design portfolio.
- Must be detailed oriented.
Professional Certifications

Formal Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Years of Professional Experience
4+ years’ experience as an UI/UX designer or similar role
Security Clearance Requirements
Must possess a Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility
Citizenship
U.S. Citizenship Required
