Position Purpose:

To ensure that the finished project from each editor matches the producer's vision and is suitable for broadcasting on Television. This position is also responsible for formatting and inserting captioning into the finished video product according to FAA Regulations.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure that each editor has assembled an entire broadcast from the appropriate content including the main teaching with necessary b-roll, ending promotions, music, full screen, and lower third graphics that compliment AWMI's message.
• Quality controls multiple versions of each show.
• Be able to meet daily/weekly deadlines.
• Follow established media organization and archiving.
• Timestamp transcripts and add closed captioning to the final product as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of MacCaption software.
• Some knowledge of digital technology and editing software packages including (Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder) is preferred.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to operate a Mac-based and Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to navigate Adobe Premiere to preview each show.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Andrew Wommack Ministries preferred.
• Excellent typing skills.

Requirements:

• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must sign the Statement of Faith.
• A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
• Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

• Some experience in video editing is preferred.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
