Hiring 2nd and 3rd Shifts, Flexible Schedule

This mechanical position earns a competitive wage, depending on skills and experience. Annual salary will be based on overtime and city or location hiring. Position Summary:

Kriete Truck Center in North Fond du Lac, WI is looking to hire a full-time Mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks. This position requires a full range of knowledge of repair and maintenance services on Mack, Volvo, Hino trucks. Must be available to work extended hours.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Road tests vehicles when required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to make logical decisions in support of business demands.
• Knowledge and proven experience with diagnostic fault-code troubleshooting using laptop computer / software, electrical, clutch, suspension, air/hydraulic brake and air conditioning systems diagnosis and repair.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of mechanical experience or a degree of an accredited diesel program
• Experience with diagnostic fault-code troubleshooting using a laptop computer
• A/C certification
• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL
• Basic computer skills

We have a modern, well-lit shop with advanced tooling & equipment. We provide factory-supported training.
