Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Truck Driver/Laborer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and goods to and from designated locations. Additionally, you will assist with various labor tasks as needed. This is a physically demanding role that requires a valid CDL license and the ability to perform manual labor duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation of CDL Truck:Operate a CDL truck in a safe and responsible manner.

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's functionality and safety.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

• Materials and Equipment Transportation:Load and unload materials, equipment, and goods onto the truck.

Transport materials and equipment to designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.

• Labor Assistance:Assist with various labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.

Support the construction or maintenance team with on-site work requirements.
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Maintenance and Reporting:Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

Report any mechanical or operational issues with the truck to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, fuel consumption, mileage, and other required documentation.

• Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to driving, transportation, and labor activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a CDL truck driver or in a similar driving role.
• Ability to perform physical labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the truck.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to various locations as required.
