Cleveland Based Amsdell Companies/Compass Self-Storage is a growing self-storage company with 102 locations in 14 states under the Compass Self Storage banner and is searching for a Treasury Supervisor based out of our home offices in Cleveland, Ohio.

Our ideal candidate has earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary: Oversees the Treasury/Cash Flow processes of the organization

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage cash balances and transfer of funds between accounts
  • Preparation and posting of transactions related to cash transactions.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements, including monthly and year-end

Supervisory Responsibilities

None currently but supervision of other roles may be added in the future. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of SAGE300 a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
