The role as Treasury Risk Leader, reporting to the Treasurer, will be responsible for building, developing and leading the Risk function. This role will work closely with the Treasury Leadership team to monitor, review and enhance the Risk and Controls framework across all functions in GE Aerospace Treasury Globally as well as manage financial institution related counterparty risk.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for measuring, monitoring and analyzing the firm's counterparty and financial market risk related exposure for various financial products

• Develop and implement policy and policing framework to ensure adherence to specified levels of risk exposure
• Responsible for monitoring country risk and any associated liquidity related risks
• Establish and maintain a Risk & Controls Matrix and maintain and improve an internal control testing framework consisting of a centralized risk and control inventory, a testing plan, independent testing of controls in place and report out
• Periodically provide standard work dashboards and KPIs to stakeholders including Treasury operating reviews, HMS board meetings and other forums as required
• Partnering with the SOX team, perform wing to wing risk controls testing across Aerospace treasury related functions and manage and develop a team of contractors in this regard
• Work with function leads to identify control gaps/improvements and specific action plans and follow up on remediation
• Review relevant analytics and controls in place/needed for new/enhanced system changes to ensure a strong control environment is in place at all times
• Work as required with internal and external auditors as well as SOX teams on control environment

• Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration / finance / economics or similar field
• 10+ years business experience with extensive background within the Risk Management function, preferably in treasury, financial services, or banking institutions
• Having a strong control mindset is essential to the role
