ob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Traveling CNC Service Technician to join our team. As a Traveling CNC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of CNC machines across various customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine maintenance and repair, be willing to travel up to 80% of the time, and demonstrate proven longevity at past jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer locations to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and provide technical support and recommendations for CNC machine optimization.
• Utilize your expertise to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in CNC operations.
• Keep detailed records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance performed on each CNC machine.
• Train customer personnel on basic troubleshooting and maintenance techniques to improve operational efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC machine technology and industry best practices.
• Provide regular feedback to the CNC team regarding common issues, emerging trends, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Service Technician, with a strong focus on maintenance and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operations, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex CNC machine issues.
• Willingness and availability to travel up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan service visits and manage customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and provide technical support.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and customer needs.
• Demonstrated longevity in past positions, showcasing commitment, reliability, and loyalty.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
