Position: Registered Nurse
Department: Emergency Room
Hourly Pay: $90
Schedule: 3x12

Locations & Schedule(s): Positions requires coverage every other weekend

• Brooklyn - 7am - 7:30pm, 11:30am - 12am, 7pm - 7:30am
• Queens - 7am -7:30pm, 11:30am - 12am, 7pm - 7:30am
• Manhattan - 7am -7:30pm, 7pm - 7:30am
• Bronx - 7am - 7:30pm, 11:30am - 12am, 7pm - 7:30am

Requirements

• ASN with NYS RN License - required AHA BLS & ACLS - required
• IV Certification - required
• AORN - preferred
• Proof of Full Covid-19 vaccination + Booster if eligible
• Two years experience Scrub, circulating, IV insertion, and phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Executes nursing care in accordance with physician treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients and their family or support system
• Triage, assess, prioritize, monitor, and manage overall care for emergent cases for pediatric and adult cases
• Treat patients for services including, but not limited to critical care, rapid response codes, and trauma cases in an ACS Certified Level II Trauma Center
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
