Job Summary: Transport guests to and from the resort area using 25 to 40 passenger buses, some with air brakes. Provide reliable and efficient transportation in compliance with the Palisades Tahoe Safety policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Seasonal, part-time positions available supporting Palisades Tahoe transportation team.
• Role may be exposed to winter weather conditions while on the job

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks:

• Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
• Inspect vehicles for safety: brakes, mirrors, fluids etc.
• Drive 25 to 40 passenger buses (some with air brakes) with automatic transmissions.
• Clean and fuel vehicles.
• Remove snow from vehicles using shovels.
• Chain up vehicles when weather and road conditions are hazardous.
• Rebuild tire chains as necessary.
• Assist with loading skis on buses.
• Assist with traffic and emergency flares when conditions warrant.
• Random drug testing is required for this position per DOT regulations.
• Complete legibly all Company, State and federally required daily paperwork.
• Compliant with all State and Federal regulations related to commercial operations.
• Flexibility to work as a team player

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to three years driving experience preferably in a snow area, even if not commercially qualified.
• Have a valid Commercial License with passenger endorsement.
• Current DMV printout (dated within the last 30 days) from the state where license was issued showing clean driving record for last 3 years, or if less than 3 years in the same state, a print out from the state prior to current one covering the period required.

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $24.86 - $34.00 per hour

The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. Must be capable standing for long periods of time and occasionally walking or standing. Must be capable of occasionally lifting and pushing or pulling 30 lbs. or more. Must be capable of climbing movements, walking on uneven terrain, and walking on snow and ice. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
