ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • The Position will ensure proper processing of all Company's claims, including recording, tracking, investigation, documentation, submission, collection, negotiation, and settlement as assigned.
  • Provides the details and reviews to determine claim type/ exposure when an incident and/or injury occurs. Monitors risk exposure and reports for proper escalation.
  • Pulls internal repair orders to create invoices of damages and obtain quotes and other related information to create the documentation for the demand letters to recover loss claims.
  • Manages the tracking of internal costs for the proper reimbursement of insurance funds upon meeting the deductible level.
  • Manage communication via phone, email, written letter, and/or invoicing for the notification of, collection of, payment of, and/or response to a claim.
  • Serves as a liaison between other internal company departments and third-party administrators for needed investigation materials and pertinent information to process claims.
  • Manage and document communication with the interested parties (i.e., insured, claimants, agents, attorneys, repair shops, and lien holders) as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Leadership, the scheduling of approved independent adjusters and attorneys in the field.
  • Ensures all required investigation and related claims information such as objects/evidence and video are secured and stored properly as requested.
  • Identifies and escalates issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Conducts investigations and secures all documentation to support loss; follows up to ensure proper support for the defense of claims.
  • As instructed, support in the negotiations and resolutions of claims within the level of authority.
  • Monitors trends and communicates to appropriate leaders/departments of concerns to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Follows all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO: QMS 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015, and OH&S 45001; 2018 Quality certification programs.

JOB CONTENT:

The primary responsibilities of the Transportation Claims Administrator is the processing of the 3rd Party, Commercial Auto, Cargo, Property, General Liability, and Worker's Compensation claims. The Position is responsible for analyzing, documenting, processing, collecting, and adjusting commercial claims. This Position requires professional communication, computer, and presentation skills. This Position represents the Company in a positive image, with employees, customers, and the community always performing in a safe and ethical manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; associate' degree or commensurate experience will be considered. A minimum of three years related experience in Claims or Risk Management and a Certificate of Insurance management experience are preferred but not required. Advanced computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office products, to include proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, database applications, email, and the internet. Must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and analytical and organizational skills. Must be proficient at multi-tasking and time management. Ability to work well under pressure and during stressful and sensitive situations, always focusing on an optimal outcome. Should be Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work independently, and eager to take on new and challenging responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
