Key Responsibilities:
- Assists clients in preparing for appointments, including assist with dressing, obtaining wheelchair or walker, if appropriate, obtain appropriate documentation/information and escort elder/client into the van.
- Accompanies clients on visits outside the facility including physician office visits, including loading/unloading elder/client from vehicles as necessary.
- Assist with completion of forms at the physician’s office or hospital. Return necessary equipment and pertinent information/documentation to the facility.
- Drives the Brookside van to transport elders/clients as assigned
- Assists elders/clients into and out of van and buildings, securing elders’/clients’ wheelchairs and walkers in van to stabilize them during trips.
- Makes deliveries, deposits, and pickups as assigned.
- Coordinates with the Scheduler in following established van schedule.
- Work as CNA on floor as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be a least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a current nursing assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.
- No previous experience as a CNA is required, however we compensate based on experience.
