Bilingual (Japanese & English) Translator / Interpreter (Full-time)

Note: This is NOT a remote position.

Our client is a successful large-sized international manufacturing company in the automotive industry. We are currently looking for a translator/interpreter who is fluent in Japanese and English for our client.

At this translator/interpreter role, you will be responsible for translation, interpretation and some administrative work for various teams and departments in the company, including HR, management, production, and etc.. An ideal candidate is a team player who has great communication skills in Japanese and English to work with other people at the company.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• Fluent in Japanese and English. (Required language skills. Japanese: Native level, including kanji and keigo. English: At least a business level to handle translation and interpretation from Japanese to English, and from English to Japanese.)
• Able to use MS Excel and PowerPoint in Japanese and English.
• Able to keep company’s information confidential.
• Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship.
• Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.
• A valid US driver's license and a car. (Please note that there is no public transportation near the facility.)

Compensation: $55,000 to $70,000/yr DOE

The employer will provide health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k plan to its full-time employees in accordance with the company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
