POSITION SUMMARY: The Trainer is responsible for enhancing the education and performance of One Health’s employees and coordinating multidisciplinary education and training for regional health professionals and health professions students to support a quality and effective inter-professional healthcare workforce in Montana and Wyoming, particularly in rural and underserved areas. This position is responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. The training coordinator assesses organizational needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.


COMPENSATION:
$19.50-$20.33 DOE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

AVAILABILITY: Monday to Friday


**The location for this position can be at any one of our sites across Montana or Wyoming (Hardin, Ashland, Miles City, Glendive, Chinook, Harlem, Lewistown, Sheridan, Powell/Greybull/Lovell). Occasional travel between sites may be required.**

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


Education/Certificates/Licenses:

Required

  • Associate degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities listed below will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • BLS certification upon hire

To be completed within three (3) months of hire:

  • Fatherhood Is Sacred/Motherhood is Sacred Facilitator Certification
  • Suicide Safe Care Facilitator Certification
  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan Facilitator Certification
  • Critical Incident Desensitization Certification
  • Group Peer Support Facilitator (GPS) Certification
  • Beyond Trauma/Exploring Trauma Curriculum Training

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

Required

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in the field of Training/Learning and Performance.

Preferred

  • Two (2) years in a health care setting
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential
