Summary of Duties:
The Trainer will be responsible for the facilitation of the training initiative for their assigned regions to meet the needs of the client and JSI expectations. The trainer will also aid in the development of training programs adherent to client requirement and emerging trends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate on-site training of janitorial staff at client-specific locations.
- Evaluate the performance of staff within the first 90-days to ensure training success.
- Document and maintain adequate records of completed employee training.
- Conduct mandated safety training sessions.
- Identify the learning requirements of specific programs.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with business partners to ensure that goals and objectives are being fulfilled.
- Make recommendations that improve training and knowledge management.
- Provide periodic reports to management on course development and training projects.
- Other special projects and duties as requested or assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive cleaning experience in the commercial setting is a must.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Trainer is highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong team development and communication skills.
- Appreciation of diversity.
- Excellent ability to build relationships.
- Effective coaching skills and a persuasive communicator.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as dictated by business needs.
This is a full-time position requiring the flexibility to work day or evening shift. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation to travel between the corporate office and client sites.
