Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct training of new employees
  • Continuing training of employees
  • Evaluate current training methods
  • Create and implement new training methods and materials
  • Understand production flow – how work impacts others and customer demands & needs
  • Assist in finding resolution to various quality issues
  • Interpret prints/drawings and reading work orders
  • Compile reports to document training
  • Recommend training subjects
  • Understands and implements quality work procedures
  • Create and maintain employee training status records via training matrix
  • All other duties and responsibilities as combined
Minimum Qualifications
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Work safely with or around air tools, lift equipment, electro-magnetic field via welding machines
  • Ability to climb a ladder to a height of at least one story
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements
  • Ability to work in tight positions
  • Working knowledge of measuring devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings
  • Ability to recognize all subject matter expert related defects
  • Knowledge of basic math skills
  • Ability to be self driving and perform job functions unsupervised
  • Knowledge of the applicable department procedure specifications, inspection criteria and codes
  • Ability to create written documents
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six (6) months of applicable position experience
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and operational procedures
  • Knowledge of office computer software to include MS Word, Excel, & SMARTEAM
