We are seeking a full time Assistant Teacher for our Toddler Classroom to support the Lead Teacher and work along side another Assistant Teacher.
We are eager to hire someone in the next week to start on 01/02/23. This is a M-F schedule from at least 8AM - 2 PM. The hourly rate is $15 per hour with paid holidays and bonuses for the remainder of the school year.
Duties
You would work collaboratively with the Toddler Team to care for 13 toddlers between the age of 15 months to 3 years old while applying Montessori Educational principles. Our ideal candidate must have patience, be dependable, and absolutely love young children.
We are willing to train you on Montessori principles, but need to be able to effectively learn and apply them.
Experience with children not required, but preferred. You must be able to work not just with children, but with other adults in a respectful, honest, and trustworthy manner.
Cleaning of the classroom, throwing out trash, diapering, assisting as needed, comforting children, and more will be required.

Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to 01/02/23 start
- Current negative TB Test (last 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination series
- 2 professional recommendations
- Dependable transportation
- Cleanliness and organizational skills
- Great communication skills
- Clean appearance
