Located in Kentwood Michigan, the company has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person who is goal oriented, task driven and has a positive attitude.

Now in CELO Trident, we are looking for a Thread Rolling Machine Operator to operate Rolling Machines to their capabilities, guaranteeing the best performance and efficiency.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Operate shank slotters, changing saw blade and adjusting as necessary.
• Operate rollers, slotters, etc., making sure of producing quality part that meets specifications.
• Hoppers fill when needed, dump drain trays and check parts.
• Put all stock on trucks and keep lots separate.
• Collect parts from each machine hourly, taking measurements and maintaining SPC charts, and adjusts when necessary.
• Get stock for machines from time to time, making sure each job is complete before changing jobs.
• Dump scrap and slugs in drain bins.
• Check machines for oil levels and keep coolant tanks cleaned when filled with slugs and shavings.

Requirements

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Skilled at reading and comprehending blue prints.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Experienced in the use of calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Proficiency in using dimensional charts.
• Ability to lift at least 80 pounds frequently.

Previous experience:

• Knowledge in a similar Production department of an industrial company, most preferably in a metal sector.
