Summary: Develops system requirement specifications, implements, supports, and manage IT services, including network, and security for web-based imagery exploitation systems. The position will entail analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to streamline and integrate security practices within the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline aligned with the PEO C4I / NAVWAR Enterprise DevSecOps initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist as directed in planning the way forward for the development, integration, and testing of future DCGS-N software iterations.
  • The SUBCONTRACTOR shall aid as directed, testing tasks during major test events, such as Application Integration SIT, CANES testing, and end-to-end testing. Work shall be performed at Government test facilities
  • Provide support as directed to testing events and develop test documentation
  • Support Team as directed to develop a plan that aligns with design, development, and testing of each IR requirement set
  • Provide support by recommending industry-based practices for incorporating testing, security, and operations representation into the Agile Team early and continuously in the application lifecycle
  • Provide support as directed for continuous and automated testing across the software development lifecycle (Lifecycle phases include - plan; develop; build; test; release; deliver; deploy; operate; monitor)
  • As directed by Team, support all shipboard testing activities for software integrated into each SIT environment and related Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities in the ship environment.
  • Support as directed the development and implementation of Shipboard Operational Verification Testing (SOVT). This support shall include reviewing Government test procedures and integration document, providing feedback to these documents. This testing shall be performed after shipboard installation, and will ensure correct system operation and shipboard interface requirements have been met

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Design.
  • Two to six (2-6) years of professional experience in a systems engineering related role.
  • Candidate must have a GENSER Secret clearance.
  • Must have the necessary 8140 certification requirements to be a privileged user in the lab and cloud environments including but not limited to Security+ and an Environmental Certification.
  • Recent Amazon Web Services experience relevant network experience in the design, integration, analysis, troubleshooting, documenting, programming and operation of computer equipment and networks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
